Pollyanna Meets Munchkin

Here's a video of the very first meeting of Polly with Munchkin. In the hours since this was filmed, they are buddies already -- chasing each other around the yard -- and in the house;-)

Sweet Pollyanna came home today. She is adapting very well (we'll see how she does tonight LOL). Here's a photo of her on her first day home. (Click on the photo for an enlarged version) More photos below.








Munchkin walked right into Polly's crate -- like, I'll be with you tonight, don't be afraid ;-)

Forgot My Camera

I can't believe it, I went to visit Pollyanna this morning and forgot my camera. I was so disappointed. So, you'll just have to take my word for it, Polly and her sisters and brothers are the cutest little rascals I have ever seen. When I arrived all 10 of them were outside in the play yard -- Linda opened the door and called them and this streak of chocolate and black came running in the door -- it was so cute. Sommit Labradors is just the neatest place to go -- you can visit with the puppies and the place is so clean it puts my house to shame. The dogs are all so well cared for -- and all the puppies have learned "social skills" before they go to their new home. I can't say enough good things about Linda and the care and patience -- and love -- she gives all the dogs -- and it shows -- they are all wonderful, healthy, beautiful, well mannered dogs -- kudos, Linda -- and thanks.

Linda at Sommit Labradors sent me photos of Polly and a few of her littermates taken today. I can't believe how they've grown in only one week. Tomorrow morning I go to visit them again -- then next week, Polly comes home ;-)

Pollyanna ~~ what a little doll........

Here are today's photos of Pollyanna. She is such a little wiggle bug it is hard to get a photo of her. I do have a couple short movies I will post to this blog as soon as I figure out how.

Polly is love in motion -- her little tail wagged all the time I was there -- she must be worn out just from that -- and I must tell you, she is a great 'face washer' ;-) What a little bundle of love.

Pollyanna is one month old today

It will be two weeks tomorrow since I have seen Pollyanna.
I will be going to see her tomorrow -- I can hardly wait!
I know she will have grown so much in two weeks time.
I'll post updated photos of her tomorrow sometime ;-)

Polly's Weekly Update -- 18 days old

Here's sweet Polly at 18 days old. My friend, Patti, and I went to visit her -- Linda is so great about having adoptive 'parents' come visit. Patti and I spent a delightful couple hours with Linda and the puppies and I got to hold Polly the whole time ;-) You think maybe I might just spoil her a bit.

Meet Pollyanna ~ Born March 30, 2007

Out of 24 puppies born the last month, Pollyanna is the only black girl -- so now we know which puppy will be coming home to live with us in late May. Grandson, Drew, and I went to visit them today -- talk about love at first sight -- she is just the dearest most cuddly sweet thing ever. I didn't get as many or as good of photos as I would have liked -- too busy just holding her. When you look at her photos, you will know why.

18 Days Old

Look how grown up they are -- don't know if there is more food on them or in them. Aren't they just so adorable?

My First Visit

Most of you know we lost our chocolate Lab, Bailey, in October. We have missed her so much -- and now, after almost 6 months feel we can and want to bring a new Lab into our home and lives. Today I went to visit these darling 2 week old Labrador puppies. Fell in love ;-)
