My First Visit
Most of you know we lost our chocolate Lab, Bailey, in October. We have missed her so much -- and now, after almost 6 months feel we can and want to bring a new Lab into our home and lives. Today I went to visit these darling 2 week old Labrador puppies. Fell in love ;-) Below is a photo of mom, Cherokee, with her 14 puppies. Seven male, seven female -- they are 5 days old here. First photos of the beautiful mom and her 14 babies -- about 24 hours old.
She had 14 babies. Seven male and seven female -- and she is so sweet and gentle. Would love at least two of them -- but I will be very happy with one. Hugz, J
My goodness, LB, how did you find this blog so quickly? All your beaded dogs really got me aching for a Lab again. We have missed Bailey so much. These puppies won't be ready to come home until the end of April / first of May. See, it's all your fault LOL.
I was so excited seeing the picture in your email, I missed the link to this blog at first! These are terrific pictures and all the babies look great. What a good mom they must have! Good luck in making your choice! Cheers, Catharine
cybergram - fortunately, I don't make the choice - the breeder chooses which puppy goes to which family -- and I am more than content to have her choose -- she is with them from the beginning and picks up on their 'personalities' and I am happy with that -- after all, she chose Bailey for me from a litter -- and it was a perfect match.
I wish I could smuggle one to you -- I know how you would like another fur baby.

And just how many puppies did this poor mama have, Jackie? That last pic says it all.
And you'd love to bring several home wouldn't you?
